This Code of Conduct governs behavior within the Order's spaces, including our Discord server, website, and any in-game interactions while representing the guild. The Charter defines our ideals; this document defines the lines we do not cross.
Membership in the Order requires you to be 18 years of age or older.
Treat fellow members and the broader Soulframe community with respect. Disagreements are expected and welcome. Insults, hostility, and cruelty are not. If a conversation is getting heated, step away.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and any other form of discrimination will result in immediate removal. No warnings, no appeals. This is non-negotiable.
This is an 18+ guild. We expect adult behavior. That means no drama-stirring, no gossip campaigns, no passive-aggression, and no dragging private conflicts into public channels. If you have a problem with someone, handle it directly or bring it to an Oathbound.
Roleplay is welcome but always consensual. Do not force others into scenes, do not blur the line between in-character and out-of-character to make someone uncomfortable, and do not use RP as cover for real hostility.
No exploits, cheats, hacks, or real-money trading. Do not pressure others into playstyles they haven't chosen. How someone else experiences the game is not yours to dictate.
Use spoiler tags for new content. Do not rush others through quests or story. Everyone deserves to discover the world at their own pace.
When you wear the guild tag in public, you represent all of us. Act accordingly.
This list is not exhaustive. If your behavior is detrimental to the Order, its members, or its reputation, leadership will address it, whether or not a specific rule covers it. "But it's not in the rules" is not a defense.
When a rule is broken, the typical process is:
This is a guideline, not a contract. Leadership reserves the right to skip steps based on the severity of the situation. Some behavior warrants immediate removal. No one is owed a second chance, and repeated minor infractions are treated as a pattern, not as isolated events.
Enforcement decisions are made privately. We do not publicly discuss individual cases.
If you disagree with a moderation decision, you may appeal to the Grand Steward. State your case clearly and honestly. The Grand Steward will hear you out.
The Grand Steward's decision is final.
This document exists to protect the people who make the Order worth being part of. It is not a weapon, and it is not a technicality to be argued around. If you find yourself looking for loopholes, this is probably not the community for you.
If you have questions about any of this, ask an Oathbound. We would rather explain a rule than enforce one.
